Hitting Mini Camp

GENERAL INFORMATION
Hitting a softball is hard.  Yeah, a little play on the words but it seriously is difficult to put the round bat on the round ball at the approximate size of a dime.

This camp will focus on the mechanics of developing bat speed and line drive hitting.

Holly has been teaching and working with hitters of all ages from beginners to professional levels and the principles of hitting continue to be very much the same as they have been for at least the last 40 years with some changes in the wording more than what is important.  More about Holly

CAMP LEVEL:  Beginner/Intermediate
This mini-camp is intended for beginners and intermediate hitters.  Those that are just starting out or have played a while but are really struggling making contact.

The age limits are 8 years old to 14 years old.

CAMP SCHEDULE:   9:00am to 10:30am
The camp will last 90 minutes where the initial teaching will be from selecting a bat, to grip to stance and then to the basic components of the swing.  Then we will go to the batting tunnels for some drills and repetition.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Each hitter will also be tested on bat speed, bat velocity and other hitting metrics and added to the National Diamond Prospects Database.  More on our testing center here.

POOR WEATHER
In case of poor weather you will be contacted upon any changes as soon as a decision is made.  I will also post any changes on this page.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICIES

Due to the nature of these types of camps there is a minimum and maximum number of participants for each mini-camp.  With this in mind there is a need to be a little more strict on the cancellation and refund policies.
