Throwing Mini Camp

The ability to throw involves three components:

  • Strength/Velocity

  • Accuracy

  • Quickness

Each position has different levels of requirements of each component.  For example, the catcher requires high levels of all three to be considered a good throwing catcher but the first baseman rarely needs to throw and the main component that is needed at a high level for this position is accuracy.

However, it is a huge advantage to be able to throw with all three components and, on the flip side, many players will eliminate playing time as they progress upward in age if they do not throw well.

I have been teaching throwing as long as I can remember and is one of the least taught and understood area of the sport.  If you want to improve your throwing arm I believe this camp can really help you.
